Psilocybe tampanensis Spores
Psilocybe tampanensis spores are a rare and fascinating specimen for microscopy research, originally discovered in Tampa, Florida in 1977. Known for producing sclerotia or "philosopher’s stones," this species offers a unique study opportunity due to its rarity in the wild.
Under the microscope, Psilocybe tampanensis spores present as dark purplish-brown in color, ellipsoid to subellipsoid in shape, and typically measure around 8–10 µm by 6–7 µm. Their distinctive characteristics make them an excellent subject for both amateur and advanced mycological research.
All Psilocybe mushroom spores intended for microscopy and taxonomy purposes only. Buying magic mushroom spores is legal in the United States.
