DESCRIPTION
Psilocybe cubensis Bluey Blanco Isolated Spores
Psilocybe cubensis Bluey Blanco is an albino variant of the Bluey Vuitton strain, selectively stabilized for reduced pigmentation while maintaining classic P. cubensis morphology. The strain exhibits pale ivory to off-white basidiomes with minimal melanin expression and characteristic blue bruising when handled.
Spores produce a dark purple-brown to chocolate-brown spore print. Under microscopy, basidiospores are smooth, ellipsoid to subellipsoid, measuring approximately 10.5 - 12.5 × 7 - 8.5 µm. Spores appear light brown to hyaline individually in mounting media. Basidia are predominantly four-spored, with lageniform cheilocystidia present along gill edges, consistent with P. cubensis diagnostics.
Bluey Blanco retains the genetic traits of its Bluey Vuitton lineage while expressing a distinctive albino phenotype, making it a visually unique specimen for microscopy and taxonomic study.

All Psilocybe mushroom spores intended for microscopy and taxonomy purposes only.
