DESCRIPTION
Psilocybe cubensis Rusty White Spores
Originally developed through selective isolation by dedicated cultivators, Rusty White is a unique leucistic variety of Psilocybe cubensis. It is known for producing rust-colored spores—an unusual trait for an otherwise pale-fruiting strain.
Under the microscope, spores appear elliptical to subellipsoid, measuring approximately 12–13 by 7–8 micrometers. The fruits typically display ghostly white to cream-colored caps with thick, dense stems.
This striking contrast between spore color and fruit appearance makes Rusty White a standout choice for advanced microscopy research.
