DESCRIPTION
Psilocybe cubensis White Golden Teacher Spores
White Golden Teacher is a refined Psilocybe cubensis isolate characterized by its pale, leucistic presentation and balanced, classical morphology. Fruiting bodies typically feature ivory to cream-colored stipes with smooth caps maturing from light beige to soft golden tones, maintaining lighter pigmentation than standard Golden Teacher expressions. Mild blue bruising may be observed along the stipe and cap margin when handled.
Derived from Golden Teacher lineage, this cultivar represents a selectively stabilized expression emphasizing uniform growth, structural symmetry, and visual clarity. It retains the reliable developmental traits that have made Golden Teacher one of the most widely studied cubensis strains, while presenting a lighter, more refined phenotype.
Spore characteristics are consistent with P. cubensis, producing dark purple-brown spore prints. Spores are ellipsoid to subellipsoid in shape, smooth-walled, and measure approximately 11–13 µm × 7–9 µm, making them well-suited for microscopic observation and taxonomic study.
White Golden Teacher stands as a clean evolution of a classic cultivar, combining historical lineage with modern selective refinement.
